Sincerity (and the Wages Of)

Sincerity (and the Wages Of)

I have a good heart and I would say, so do you. We see ourselves as helpful maybe, or giving. And
we also have chosen our friends and people we live around day to day out of our values and
perspectives. Many people are goodly and have good hearts and souls.

As we are believers on Jesus, we find out that our goodness will never earn the grace of God to save us.
And if we continue to learn the word of God, we find that God’s grace includes imputing the
righteousness of Christ Jesus to us. This is more than changing our record of sin to spotless,
which is justification. And this is not the same as sanctification, where God deals with our hearts to
continue to choose Him as we walk with Him, and lay many things upon the altar of sacrificing unto Him
all that we are, all our members: tongue, hands, feet, etc. This is also not the renewal of life, healing of
our souls, or even the miraculous resurrection life that brings us into being spurned to do God’s will.

The righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed to us is an act of God’s will to rest upon us His character. We
receive this work of God by His hand alone, as He takes us at our word to receive of Him, and He
continues to impart / give / place within us His character, His track record, His understandings of what is
good in God’s eyes, as we follow Jesus. This is a work of blessing. It has to have a place in us to reside.
Hence, sanctification. And God’s righteousness is Who He is, He is righteous altogether, Psalm 19:9,
and there is no unrighteousness in Him ( ). So we become Who He wants us to be, even like Christ,
by His work, but it has to have a place to “be” in us.

Nothing about God’s righteousness is to be taken as routine or lightly spoken of. There is no other way to
understand God except to allow Him to work upon us in His Spirit, and by His truth. The breastplate of
righteousness we are to have upon us cannot be taken by ourselves. The greek, the original language in
Ephesians 6 bears out that it is imputed into or placed upon us. Study it. Gain God’s perspective.

But we are nice people, we believe. We have become what Jesus wants by the things we do for the Lord.
We are responding to sermons and we are spending time in His presence. And Praise God, I believe He
wants that. And further… We believe we want the good of all. And doesn’t God want that too?

Have you ever invited someone into your home that was a good person who just needed a leg up, a fresh
start, a helping hand, and then found them unable to function under the conditions of your home? I am not
even addressing the various problems or the rebellious nature or whatever was faced, or how someone
needed love but not the kind you offered. I just mean, you steppe up to the plate and gave and
...this person did not gain steps in life, but faltered, failed, flailed and fell apart right there. Right in the
midst of your help and giving, everything went awry and splat! Been there? Done that? I have!

I can say I found out that my own goodness and even my ability to give was not the whole situation
involved with that person. My sincerity and willingness and even my calling from God was not enough
to replace what that person really needed. And had I sought God first and foremost and set my own
feelings aside, and submitted more closely to Him, I may have avoided the disaster that ensued.

Now, I prayed for every single person I’ve affected through ministry, as many times as they come to
mind, knowing that I may have acted in my own goodness repeatedly, even habitually, and affected them.
I understand my power to help may sincerely end up in the mix when God is trying to move in power to
save.

This is not meant to be rude, but instead to offer some wisdom about how it is easy to try to be who God
has called me to be in my own strength. And I praise God that He is my covering, He cleanses me from
my own unrighteousness, and He brushes me off, cleanses my conscience by His blood, and
continues to build me (edify me) by His Spirit unto all He has called me to.
...And… As I continue to walk with Him I find ministry by Holy Spirit becomes less and less of how I feel
about things and more and more about how He feels, how He understands, and how He measures out
what someone else needs, without my 2 cents being thrown in.

Alas, I am in my humanity of still being subject to Christ to lay my life down and so there are still workings
of His Spirit sanctifying me. But… Greater is He that is in me! Period!

We, as believers on Jesus need to apply ourselves to understand that we are made in His image, the
image of Christ, when we are born into Christ Jesus, and that there is a crossroad that is where our will
and His will are in conflict, in places and at times. We need to review that we are His and not our own to
do as we see fit as we face the Lord and give HIm His due. For there is a doctrine of man’s goodness
going around and it is designed to play upon our emotions to act in a way that is without our individual
consultations with God Most High by Holy Spirit.

Jehovah God is a God of giving, but He is also a God of wisdom, leadership, and He counsels each
heart. Psalm 94 verse 10 speaks to us that God Himself chastises the heathen and corrects the nations.
We have the word of God that speaks of the way He moved under the Old Covenant to prove His might
and His strength to raise up a people in the earth that would serve Him. And we have the book of Acts in
which He moves by His might and His strength to raise up a people in the earth to serve Him. Each of
these peoples affected nations as they understood their place in the earth by God’s hand. The book of
Acts is not about Sunday church services and a lot of healings and salvation experiences, but the way
God entered the world through Jesus Christ on a continuum, and by Holy Spirit multiplied the
effectiveness of His working in the earth. Every salvation meant just that many more serving God, who
would go out and do miraculous things and run by the power of God, literally run communities by the
love and the blessings of God.

The church we hear by history was scattered, and next we hear it was an organized monstrosity that
acted like the roman government. No matter, we still have Holy Spirit who has The Plan of God to move
us from what we think, to how God thinks: the Mind of Christ, and through Whom the transformation in of
lives in and by the effectual working of the power of God continues. We are Acts continuing as we follow
Holy Spirit.

Let us bear our cross and be sure to hear from Holy Spirit what would be the counsel for the nations that
He speaks to us in the USA →>because we are We The People entrusted with this nation. The believing
church of Jesus’ heart and mind must be sure to hear what is God’s righteous way in this hour as we face
our hearts being pulled in all kinds of emotional directions by the words of man.

We are entrusted, selected, and empowered to hear and understand by the word of God. Call upon Him
while He is near! While He may be found!

I pray for your every release into His heart and mind, the Mind of Christ, and the wisdom that is ours if we
so ask for it. And I pray for your shaking off from where you have rooted and planted your beliefs *into
a liberty to flow with His river, His Spirit, that is, the government of God that will quench the thirsty souls
and give miraculous multiplication to what He calls us to do, if we are willing to do things His way.
Don’t be so good and sincere that you miss His righteousness that He has laid up in store for you!!!
AMEN??

Many and much blessings of shalom be yours in Jesus Name!! AMEN!
