I Will Hear What God The Lord Will Speak
(Note: CAPS are used throughout for adding emphasis, never meaning to yell.) Psalm 85:8 "I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints." He will speak peace, that word is - shalom! To His people - Us, and to His saints - Us. This psalm has a theme: Restoration. We are praying for our nation for restoration, forgiveness of sin, For God to turn and move with His mighty arm to bring salvation to our nation, for revival, a great waking up!... The burden expressed in this psalm matches our cry... Verses 4-6: "Restore us, O God of our salvation And cause Your anger toward us to cease. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord And grant us Your salvation." We have a Great God Who desires to be with us and to show us Himself, His ways, His heart, His love, His path
