GOD IS NOT A FAILURE
You. Your life. God wants you to know...
Your parents may have failed you
BUT GOD IS NOT A FAILURE
Your children may have failed you
BUT GOD IS NOT A FAILURE
Your husband or wife may have failed you
BUT GOD IS NOT A FAILURE
Your expectations, your life may have failed you
BUT GOD IS NOT A FAILURE
Your government may have failed you
Your business, your company, your boss may have failed you
Your friends even may have failed you
BUT GOD IS NOT A FAILURE.
God sits on His throne which means HE OCCUPIES His throne.
The rulership of all things is His throne and He fills it justly,
with justice.
He sees and knows all things that pertain to you, that are
hidden that pertain to everyone,
And He is so awesome and spectacular in His make up
that He knows just what to do.
GOD IS NOT A FAILURE.
Because He loves you,
YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE.
Because He made you, He can re-make you, and He knows
what He plans for you.
He sees the finished product - the YOU He has designed in
the fullest expression of LIFE and LOVE and A WONDROUS
REFLECTION of Him, yet
YOU.
GOD SEES YOU
AND HE DOES NOT CALL YOU A FAILURE.
HE MADE YOU -
AND GOD IS NOT A FAILURE.
He doesn't make junk.
He doesn't fail in making YOU.
And He didn't fail.
GOD LOVES YOU.
You are to Him more precious than gold,
more to Him than you can hear Him say.
He is overwhelmingly in love WITH YOU, with us,
His creation,
The ones He created in His own image,
to have what He has.
HE IS our Father and we are His family.
There is the call on His lips continually to make us know
there is a way, and a place, and a position for us to fill.
The way is Jesus.
The place is with God.
And the position is with God in heavenly places to move
as He moves,
live and speak and do
as He lives and speaks and does
in Heaven.
WE ARE CALLED TO LOVE.
LOVE NEVER FAILS.
He calls us to His heart,
to hear it's beating, to know His yearning, to hear His concern
and to understand
His provision, solution, resolution, ...His ways.
His ways are love.
Deeply satisfying, gratifying love.
Love that reaches into the depths of us and pulls out what does
not belong,
and deposits what we need.
Love feeds. Love bears burdens. Love soothes and helps and lingers
and holds onto YOU and me.
Love is subjective, but hopeful. Kind, but determined,
Protective, yet jealous. Wanting your best, not selfish.
GOD IS LOVE and HIS WAYS ARE LOVE.
You can search the world over and only find God and His love
are the winning combo that stops your heart in it's tracks,
that brings you back
to the place you were meant to be,
recognizably
because He imparts life, He replaces strife
and He causes your heart to
beat in time
with His heart
and
that
union
is
awesome!
And stops you from running.
GOD IS THE ANSWER to all our problems, to all our needs,
to all our reachings and hopings and groanings and longings.
GOD -
FOR HE IS LOVE.
and HIS LOVE satisfies!
There is a door that has a place,
And God put that door in it's place.
Your heart was made with a door.
Your future, your connection to God, your way to go to find Him,
has a door.
You can't find God without opening the door.
You can't meet God without opening the door.
You can't spend time and know God without opening the door.
The door is your choice. Your will. Your decision, to choose
Him.
Or not.
And this door can be opened to let Him in.
You know it's so because you have let others in.
So have I.
We aren't alone in this.
But Jesus knocks. Read in Song of Solomon that the one who
is in love with the shepherdess knocks longingly at the door of her
inner room, were she sleeps. It is a door to intimacy.
It is a door to sharing in the quiet, in the stillness of the loneliness,
of the alone-ness, of the you that you are
In the deep of you
Where no one else is
But you.
GOD HAS TAKEN THE BLAME
for many many sins, atrocities and works of man and mankind,
for the evils that surround,
because men can bless or curse God and most times, they curse Him.
He takes this because He knows what is true.
He IS the truth. And there is nothing hidden from Him.
His mercy and truth have met together,
and they have met in Jesus, the profound statement of God's love,
the One who lived God's love.
But the world did not know Him, John said, they did not
receive Him.
If I knock on my friend's door and she let's me come inside,
she has received me. It's old english.
The world does not give Jesus a receptive response, because
they didn't and don't know Who He is.
And so - HE HAS TAKEN THE BLAME for things.
And you. And me. We have the choice to blame Him
or receive Him.
To give Him a reception due Him, or fail to recognize or
fail to honor Him.
YET We are not created TO BE failing.
We are created to be successful, to reach goals, to overcome
challenges, to climb heights. We know this, because we admire
people who do this, especially those who do this facing "odds".
What are your odds?
Do you think God has no ability to help you through them?
Have the odds yet spoken and said they are your god on the throne?
Taking the place of God in your life?
GOD LOVES YOU and wants the best for you, great things
that you do not know of.
To know His love, to be in His family AND KNOW IT
To bask in His acceptance and His care,
To find His thoughtfulness and to know His mercy.
These are not for the ones who want to hold onto the 'odds'
and find them good enough.
The 'odds' don't last in God's presence.
They melt, they run, they dissipate, and they are proven to
be lies.
The lame walked when Jesus met a person who others said
was lame.
Lame people don't walk. But with Jesus, they did.
When you meet Jesus, being around Him cures what fails.
Odds go. Necessary things are restored...
And think about it for a minute, lameness has a lot of causes.
So it's not just a leg healed, it's the whole need
met.
Check mate.
GOD IS NOT A FAILURE.
You may feel like you are, but HE NEVER FAILS.
He just can't, it's not in His nature.
God supplies for needs and comforts the needy and feeds the poor.
Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs
is the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Kingdom belongs to the poor in spirit.
Do you need God?
Do you need Him enough to open the door of your heart?
Do you need what He has because you can't find it anywhere else?
GOD is here, at your door, patiently waiting.
Stop blaming Him for what is not
His or YOUR failure.
The world is full of those who choose to not know God
and they enact against others.
BUT GOD has come to you for YOUR choice.
What will you enact? What outcome do you want for your life?
GOD WHO NEVER FAILS loves you and is so full of joy at the
thought of coming into your heart and being received!
For there is a throne in you too.
With God in your heart, your heart becomes Heaven on earth.
And He will sit on the throne of your heart and rule over
all your enemies
through you.
Wild, huh?
First, He loves you to death, loves you to the point that your life
is changed for the better.
Saturation of love is something you can expect, but
what a way to go?
Then He wants you to get on board with His desire for others -
He just can't stay contained, and He plans to ruin it for them too.
Ruin all the plans of their 'odds'
To prove that
they are also NOT FAILURES.
BECAUSE GOD IS NOT A FAILURE.
and
LOVE NEVER FAILS.
Won't you open up and let Him in?
More? Again? and thensome?
See, I am asking you, because
I can hear His heart crying
for YOU!
