Arise, O God

Psalm 68 Psalm 82 There were movings of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament. In Psalm 68 David gives us a rendition, a detailed depiction of an event in time where God met His people in an astounding way. I have read it many times and each time it sets off a resounding vibration of God's desires within me. This psalm is a prophetic understanding of a "move of God" in hindsight. It is full of God's heart and mind, when He met with His people and revealed to them who they are called to be in the earth, dwelling with and in Him. Please note: The word "let" in the first 3 verses of this psalm does not exist in the Hebrew language. It is labelled "NIH" by the Strong's concordance, meaning "not in Hebrew". Also, every word in italics in our bibles is added to the text to make it clearer for the reader. Punctuation has also been added to do that, but we won't go into all that at once... I also have written little comments

MISUNDERSTOOD

"That which is born of the flesh, is flesh.  That which is born of the spirit, is spirit." John 3:6 "But the natural man does not receive the things  of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him: nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor. 2:14 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, If any man  hear My voice..." Rev 3:20 The Body of Christ is called to be One. A single, living organism in the earth, whose source is God. And affecting the world around us by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit within us is "dunamis" power, like dynamite, per 2 Tim 1:7, so our lives should be so very affected that the Holy Spirit is noticeable.    Those who appreciate God will be encouraged - that's one affect. Those who do not appreciate Him will be convicted - and that's another affect. And The Holy Spirit is also a spirit of unconditional love (agape) within us, per 2 Tim. 1:7, so then our lives shou

MAKING CHOICES

We are called to walk with God A walk that is separately His. His walk. Not to a walk that the world knows. The values are not the same as the values we've known. Certainly the intentions of heart and the spirit of this walk cannot be the same as what is found around us. We are vessels to be filled with the nature of God, His very Spirit: Holy Spirit. Filled and changed by the flowing ... To exemplify the character of God in the earth, Our hands His hands, our speech His, Our life His life. He said He would write His law upon our hearts by first giving to us hearts of flesh instead of the stony ones we have. (a,b) That's a promise. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood to show forth the praises of Him Who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light! (c) We pray to become what we are called of God to be. We see our erring and we look to God for His grace. To be more than forgiven. To be changed. Is He faithful? Yes. Is God a

Where Are You?

All quoted  definitions here are taken from The Strongest Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible, pub 2001 by Zondervan.   Every word in the concordance bears a reference number, which I have provided for those interested in following along. All scripture quotes are from The New King James Version of The Holy Bible. Psalm 25:1-3   A word study with consideration of the original Hebrew-Aramaic language. 1. To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. Lift up - (Strong's #5375 in the Hebrew-Aramaic) This is one word in the Hebrew-Aramaic, not two words as it is in English.        (But it is  spelled like nasa in English..  That alone is interesting. :) ... A verb meaning: "To bear, to carry, to lift up, to forgive"  And is used in the following ways -- " to be forgiven, honored, carried, to be carried off, lifted up,  to elevate, carry along, to cause to carry, to bring,  to exalt oneself, lift up oneself, ... A New Song

We are God's music. We are His Creativity played before the world and each other. Wherever He breaths life, speaks, utters His voice there is... Music. Creation worships Him... All creation sings! We join in. The heavens declare His Glory! We join in. But in us He puts A New Song. New music. Never heard before until me, until you. Each of us our own song or psalm... Songs of The Almighty that He plays in and through our lives by Holy Spirit. God speaks to me like a musical chord, arranging scriptures which together to reveal an aspect, a small bit of His truth, His manna broken off for me for this day, as I give Him that kind of freedom. It may not sound original to someone else, or it may build, expound on truth I have once known or heard before. But His truth resounds in me. Vibrates in me. Tunes me. His truth sets me free to be myself, to be responsive to Him as He created me to be, To be as He intentionally designed me to be. His truth stirs in
