I Will Hear What God The Lord Will Speak

(Note: CAPS are used throughout for adding emphasis, never meaning to yell.) Psalm 85:8 "I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints." He will speak peace, that word is - shalom! To His people - Us, and to His saints - Us. This psalm has a theme: Restoration. We are praying for our nation for restoration, forgiveness of sin, For God to turn and move with His mighty arm to bring salvation to our nation, for revival, a great waking up!... The burden expressed in this psalm matches our cry... Verses 4-6: "Restore us, O God of our salvation And cause Your anger toward us to cease. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord And grant us Your salvation." We have a Great God Who desires to be with us and to show us Himself, His ways, His heart, His love, His path...

PSALM 46 GOD IS...

Psalm 46 Intro: I'm going to be brave to address what is going on in the world, especially having been myself an avid watcher of things happening... I don't follow news because I believe so much about "right" and "wrong", but because I believe this stirs me to prayer, to seek God, and to seek Him for Who He is, to touch His heart with my plea for help, and to hear from Him  what HE would speak today, even to my little heart. So this is an entry about that which He is speaking to my heart...   (Please Note: Some words I have used CAPITALS to create emphasis, not to yell at anyone.) Psalm 46:1 "God IS our refuge and strength, A very PRESENT help in trouble." I am hearing repeatedly in my spirit about our God being present, God being "now", that HE IS IN our lives, HERE much more than I realize, much much more than I concern myself with. Perhaps more than each of us concerns ourself with? I'm experiencing a new wrapping of my mind arou...

Show Me, Teach Me, Lead Me In

Psalm 25:4,5 - "Show me Your ways, O God, Teach me Your paths, Lead me in Your truth and teach me For You are the God of my salvation On You I wait all the day." I've had a waiting come over me in the last few days. A waiting that I've never sensed before. There is an anticipation of what is next for me in this waiting. Also, a sense of new, that things that are brand new to me await me, as I wait for them. This means I'm having a good time in God! I love God's presence and how He works in my life! I love how He lifts the burdens of my soul, changes my day, my outlook, and satisifies my well being... daily. I am aware that He also desires to be satisfied. The Lord Himself wants me to satisfy Him. His heart is full of many good things that He holds for us... Within Jesus Christ, our King, is treasure, "unsearchable riches" (Ephesians 3:8). Treasure awaits us there. Deep, sweet things of His heart that we've never known b...

BLOW A TRUMPET IN ZION

I have had something stirring in me for the past few days, so as I share this and the context of this stirring, I will try to be clear. This is a day of many changes in the hearts of God's people.  We are hearing God as never before.  We are hearing from Him about our placement and callings both as individuals, and as the Body of believers in the earth as well. We are appalled at atrocities of men, perhaps shocked at leadership choices, and we are hearing a call to prayer, and even more prayer. My sharing is about our calling to prayer and to a walk with God, to a walk that encompasses His ultimate purposes for us in the earth. This is a blog for those who understand some scriptural truths already, but if you read this and have a question to ask me, I will do my best to clarify any point I make here with scriptural evidence.  THE OBVIOUS There is a spiritual realm that exists alongside the natural, and heavenly realms above affecting this world around us. We know wha...

Arise, O God

Psalm 68 Psalm 82 There were movings of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament. In Psalm 68 David gives us a rendition, a detailed depiction of an event in time where God met His people in an astounding way. I have read it many times and each time it sets off a resounding vibration of God's desires within me. This psalm is a prophetic understanding of a "move of God" in hindsight. It is full of God's heart and mind, when He met with His people and revealed to them who they are called to be in the earth, dwelling with and in Him. Please note: The word "let" in the first 3 verses of this psalm does not exist in the Hebrew language. It is labelled "NIH" by the Strong's concordance, meaning "not in Hebrew". Also, every word in italics in our bibles is added to the text to make it clearer for the reader. Punctuation has also been added to do that, but we won't go into all that at once... I also have written little comments ...

MISUNDERSTOOD

"That which is born of the flesh, is flesh.  That which is born of the spirit, is spirit." John 3:6 "But the natural man does not receive the things  of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him: nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor. 2:14 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, If any man  hear My voice..." Rev 3:20 The Body of Christ is called to be One. A single, living organism in the earth, whose source is God. And affecting the world around us by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit within us is "dunamis" power, like dynamite, per 2 Tim 1:7, so our lives should be so very affected that the Holy Spirit is noticeable.    Those who appreciate God will be encouraged - that's one affect. Those who do not appreciate Him will be convicted - and that's another affect. And The Holy Spirit is also a spirit of unconditional love (agape) within us, per 2 Tim. 1:7, so then our lives shou...

MAKING CHOICES

We are called to walk with God A walk that is separately His. His walk. Not to a walk that the world knows. The values are not the same as the values we've known. Certainly the intentions of heart and the spirit of this walk cannot be the same as what is found around us. We are vessels to be filled with the nature of God, His very Spirit: Holy Spirit. Filled and changed by the flowing ... To exemplify the character of God in the earth, Our hands His hands, our speech His, Our life His life. He said He would write His law upon our hearts by first giving to us hearts of flesh instead of the stony ones we have. (a,b) That's a promise. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood to show forth the praises of Him Who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light! (c) We pray to become what we are called of God to be. We see our erring and we look to God for His grace. To be more than forgiven. To be changed. Is He faithful? Yes. Is God a...
